Diabetes Care is an Art, Science, & Sport.

Healthcare providers are merely coaches, as we are part of the Patient care team. Diabetes is a unique disease process in that it can't be managed on your own, so a team approach will always score.

I related Diabetes and Baseball to each other this past year when my son really got into sports - it's crazy their similarity! - they both can change real quick! You also have to want to win... In order to win; But you've got to practice, and try, and fail, and learn, and take other people's advice.  The same goes with Health. I'd love the opportunity to coach you, as ultimately my patients get to play their own game (and we like to win!).
